welcome

I like to work very conceptually; often times a single line, color, or form has arrived out of a lot of research into one topic. Other times, I like to simply experiment a new technique or investigate a color I’ve been eyeing for a while. I have a hard time conveying that nuance in what I’m creating when adding to a long catalog of older work, but I hope my work holds more meaning when the process is revealed. This blog is an informal attempt to download some of my conceptual, visual research, mostly so I know my thoughts have been captured somewhere. I'm excited to share visual inspiration, sketchbook pages, phrases, words and photos, and how this all culminates in a final piece. Thanks for following along!
